On volunteers week I would like to take the opportunity as the relatively new chair of trustees of Brightlingsea Stroke Support Service (BSSS) to thank every one of our volunteers that comes and helps to run our support sessions and enrich the lives of our stroke survivors each week. Without volunteers there would be no BSSS, you make a difference with every minute you spend with our stroke survivors and their families
You are seen, you are valued and we would be nothing without you
Thank you from all of us on the board and from our community. It takes courage to dedicate your time to these causes and you all do what you do brilliantly
If anyone new would like to volunteer with BSSS please do contact us

With all my heart felt thanks
Pam Green BSSS Trustee Chair.

The Coop are fundraising for your local community stroke group BSSS for the next
12 weeks with weekly themes taking place in-store; so keep an eye out on their forthcoming events.
During this campaign Brightlingsea Stroke Support Services (BSSS) volunteers will be present every Saturday morning in the COOP store to raise an awareness of the post stroke support they can offer anyone that needs help with their road to recovery.
A big thanks to Habibi from Bright Barbers which is located in the High Street, Bsea for volunteering his services and time today to shave off the beards.
