The amazing Tesco in Brighouse are supporting us yet again, alongside FareShare, with their Winter Food Collection. This will be taking place in store on November 27th, 28th and 29th (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) and gives shoppers the opportunity to donate food items to us that we can distribute to people in our community, who will be struggling to feed themselves during the Christmas period.
If you've ever thought about volunteering with us, but don't have the time to make a regular commitment, then here's the perfect opportunity. Research shows that if we have volunteers in store during this campaign, donations increase. We would therefore be thrilled if you could sign up for a shift by clicking on the link below. Each shift is a maximum of just 3 hours long and all you have to do is say hello to customers when they walk in and let them know about the campaign. There is no expectation to pressure sell, we just want the Foodbank to be represented by smiley people!
