upporters', up to date with our work and opportunities to get involved. It's also a place for people to share experiences if they wish, and to start wider conversations about dogs, and their welfare. Are you looking for dog boarding in Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire? 🐾

At Jerry Green Dog Rescue, we provide 5-star boarding services at all three of our centres. You can have peace of mind that your dog is being well looked after by our expert team whilst they are away from home.

We have limited boarding availability across our centres this year, including some summer dates at our South Lincolnshire Centre as well as availability towards the end of the year at each of our centres.

Please note that availability varies by centre and date, so if you are interested in boarding at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, please complete the enquiry form on our website via the link in the comments and the team will get back to you. 💚

Thank you to everyone who entered our wonderful Doggy Photography Competition at the Lincolnshire Show 2026 in support of Jerry Green Dog Rescue. 💚🐾

We're delighted to announce that our winning photograph, chosen by a representative of the Lincolnshire Showground, features the beautiful Nala, Zazu and Reggie!

A special thank you to the incredibly talented volunteer photographer, Kate Ball of Kate Ball Photography, who generously gave her time to help make the competition such a success. Hello everyone, my name is Louie. 🐶

I'm a sweet and affectionate 1-year-old Cavapoo in search of a forever home. Could that be with you?

As I'm still a young boy and haven't had much experience in different environments, I'm looking for a quiet, adult-only home where I can continue to build my confidence. I can find busy places a little overwhelming, peaceful countryside walks are much more my thing!

I absolutely love life and have so much energy. I'll need a family who understands my exercise needs, and will also keep my clever mind stimulated with enrichment. I do have an ongoing medical condition which is currently being managed with pain medication, the friendly team at the South Lincolnshire Centre will be able to discuss this further with you.

I'd love to be the apple of someone's eye, but I might be able to live with a well-matched dog in the future, but we will need several successful introductions first. I enjoy spending time with other dogs while I'm out and about, but I can sometimes find waiting to say hello tricky!

North Lincolnshire Centre Access Update

Roadworks are scheduled on 24th June, 28th June and 9th July, which may cause delays when travelling to and from our North Lincolnshire Centre.

If you have an appointment or are planning to visit on these dates, please allow extra time for your journey and follow any diversion or traffic management signs in place.

Please also take extra care when travelling through the area following the works, as loose chippings and temporary speed restrictions will be in place.

Rosie was found abandoned alongside her siblings. With limited history and weighing less than 2.5kg, no one was sure what breed she was, or the type of dog she would grow into. But we were confident that despite her sheltered life so far, she would grow into a much-loved family member.

Now just over a year since being in her forever home, Rosie has transformed from a tiny puppy to a gorgeous medium-sized crossbreed, weighing in at 28kg.

Her new family describes the last year as a whirlwind, with so much learning and developing. While Rosie does still have some fears around the outside world, with reassurance and patience, she is starting to grow in confidence.

Rosie has discovered a love for cracking doggy puzzles to secure tasty treats. She also enjoys water - a lot! Whether it’s showers, hosepipes, or even watering cans, she has the best time.

Her cheeky personality has also revealed itself, often helping in the kitchen by keeping a very close eye on what food is being cooked.

Most of all, Rosie is such a loving, happy dog. 💚

You may remember the story of Blossom – a young, heavily pregnant dog that came into our care after being found as a stray. Luckily, she arrived at Jerry Green Dog Rescue just in time to give birth to six tiny puppies.

In March, we asked you, our community of dog lovers, to raise £4,000 to give a dog like Blossom a Safe Second Chance.

Thanks to the incredible kindness and generosity of our supporters, over £11,000 was raised, giving more dogs like Blossom the safety and expert care they need whilst waiting for forever homes.

After raising her puppies, Blossom could receive surgery to remove the red lumps known as Cherry Eye, and recovered safely at the centre thanks to you.

Blossom’s six puppies all found their forever homes, and after being supported through her recovery, it was finally Blossom’s time to find her very own second chance.

Now, she is living the life she deserves. With a comfy bed, plenty of delicious treats, and a family who love her, she can finally leave her painful past behind her.
