In Dudley, 36% of people are at the highest risk of food insecurity.

Throughout 2025, we spoke with people who use Black Country Food Bank to find out what life is really like behind the statistics.

We heard from people who lost everything after falling ill, and others forced to choose between a bus fare to the hospital or two days' worth of food. For many, foodbank use has shifted from a one-off emergency to a long-term necessity.

Join us as we unveil the findings of this year-long project and explore how "someone who listens" can be just as vital as the food itself.

🗓️ Tuesday 3rd March 9:30am - 1pm
📍 Brierley Hill Civic Hall
🎤 Guest Speaker: Helen Rowe, author of Eliminating Poverty in Britain.
