🥹🤩 WOW
As many of our past and present members of Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company.
Many of you will recognise this marvellous building! A building that no doubt holds many memories for you all - Woodside Library was the heart and home of many of our rehearsals running up to magnificent productions held at the Brierley Hill Civic.
What an indescribable moment to see this building in all its glory filled with so many happy memories!
Please if you have the chance to visit then please do! And Tag us in your photos 🤩🤩🤩
Woodside Library was built for the community in 1893. Its community is and was at its heart - it is thanks to them that it has been saved and rebuilt here at the Museum, ready for its new chapter to begin here in 2026.
A very special thank you to FCC Communities Foundation for their funding support towards Woodside Library. Their Landfill Communities Fund helps create lasting, high‑quality community spaces, and this project is a wonderful example of heritage being brought back to life for future generations.
Forming the final part of a multi‑million‑pound 1940s–1960s development project, this achievement would not have been possible without all our dedicated supporters, including The National Lottery Heritage Fund and National Lottery players.
