Chideock Path to Bridport getting access to Bridport for ALL, walkers and cyclists. A route that does not require dancing with death on the A35.

That road is cramped, much overused, highly polluted and dangerous.

Recent storms have not been kind to the surface of the path which has suffered serious erosion over the winter. ☹️🀨The Rangers department of Dorset Council know this has happened and have undertaken to remedy the situation. Although we’re not sure when they will be able to do this, they have performed so well, to date, we have no doubt that it will.
Approaches have been made to landowners to the east of Quarr Lane to secure land to continue the path to meet the existing paved way at the former London Inn. We have enjoyed significant support in these endeavours from Symondsbury Parish Council and our MP. 😁
