Anna-Lisa mentored Rod through his 6 week journey on the Victory Programme and the experience was new to both of them 😀 They both did such a great job and Rod completed the course 😀 So we have started our 4th cohort of people cooking on a Friday ! So far they have made Sweet & Sour chicken as well as chicken fried rice , one of our current students is vegetarian so we are learning together how to use meat substitutes 💕

Exciting news !! Our volunteers from Monday One Stop have reached the finals of the Time 2 Volunteer Awards 2026 💗 In October they will go to Hull to the grand final 😀
It is really busy on a Monday and these volunteers set up and give out food parcels , make breakfasts, talk to clients, support them and make sure they are well looked after as well as doing washing and the administration !
Without them on a Monday we wouldn't be able to offer the service we do , congratulations to them it is very well deserved 👏 👍 ❤️ 😊 The Salvation Army United Kingdom and Ireland Territory Bridlington Town Council Bridlington Echo Bridlington Free Press
