So many “thank you’s” to all who organised, volunteered, took part and donated to our annual Chelmarsh Fete yesterday. This event could not go ahead without all the hard work behind the scenes and on the day and we don’t want to lose it so if you feel you’d like to be involved in the future of the fete please get in touch by messenger or reply to this post. Without support from people like you 👈 we’ll lose the fete which would be a huge loss for the village.

I know it’s boiling hot and baking is the last thing on your mind, but Chelmarsh fete will be grateful of cake donations on Saturday 11th July if possible. Thank you.

Thank you to Eva B for designing the front cover of this year's Fete programme and to everyone who has donated raffle prizes, (listed on the programme with the addition on Henyo Studio and The Unicorn Inn) together with helpers and volunteers. We may have a warm day but the ice cream van will be fully stocked!

Chelmarsh Fete Committee would be grateful of help on the evening of Thursday 9th July 6pm to empty out the parish hall loft of fete items and Friday 10th July to help set up the large marquee on the playing field ready for the fete on Saturday 11th July 2026. Many hands make light work and your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
