After moving to a new area, Julie was keen to make connections in her new town. She went along to Tonbridge u3a coffee morning and a friendly welcome led to her signing up on the day.

Soon enough, she was making new friends through u3a. "I began to establish some roots. My connections with people in the town were beginning to form a social life."
