The Williams Memorial Hall is a registered charity under the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The Hall’s charity number is 246245.

The Hall is administered by seven Trustees including a Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Collectively they have the overall responsibility for the good management of the hall.

The Clerk to Trustees is responsible for the day to day management of the Hall. This makes a total of eight members on the Hall Trustees Committee.

Committee meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of August when there is no meeting. Meetings start immediately following the meeting of Coychurch Lower Community Council’s meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to attend any of these meetings.




Hiring the Hall

The Williams Memorial Hall is available for hire seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year.

The Hall is very well maintained and recently a new heating system has been installed

There is a large hall with stage with public address system. There is a large modern kitchen and a medium size room in addition to the main hall which is ideal for smaller activities or meetings.

There are many activities, clubs and associations using the hall. Details of these are given under current activities.

The Hall is a very popular venue ideal for all types of events meetings, training courses, concerts etc. The main Hall will hold up to 100 people (seated) and the smaller room adjacent to the hall approximately 30 people (seated.)

Kitchen facilities, plates glasses cutlery,tables and chairs etc are available at no extra cost.

Rates are very competitive. The hourly rate for Meetings, Parties etc. is currently £15 for use of the Main Hall including all equipment and facilities.

Regular daily/weekly hire rates start from £10 per hour.
