Well done to all the players who took part in the Bridgend District Rugby Tournament in Porthcawl today.

The team played very well narrowly losing out on a place in the final.

We are incredibly proud of them all. They displayed excellent sportsmanship and were a credit to Oldcastle.

A big thank you to the parents who came to support and to our fabulous coaching team.

As a school, we are supporting the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal again this year, and we have a range of items available in the main reception. The items are available for a donation of at least £1. In the coming weeks, our Junior Leaders will also be on the main yard, allowing parents to pick up a poppy, snap bracelet or wrist tie.

Thank you for your support as we help raise funds for the Poppy Appeal.
