Children were so inspired by Author Mark Dorsey from Tomser Cat Books who came into school on Monday to talk about his journey as an author. Thank you Mark.

Don't forget Mark is back in school tomorrow to sign copies of his books for the children who have placed an order. Order form should be received by tomorrow morning.

Can you help with cake donations for Oldcastle Rocks? We would love to receive any donations on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning.

The cake stall is always a hit and we know we have some amazing bakers in our school community!

We are also still accepting bottles for the tombola stall.

Some of our year 5 pupils had a lovely (if wet!) visit to Ty Penybont this week. The community garden is situated on Merthyr Mawr Road and they grow food that can be used in Baobab Bach CIC Community Food Pantries. The children loved learning and smelling various herbs and were able to plant some lettuce and herbs in our very own planter. Children brought some homegrown radish back to school to try! We look forward to seeing how their plants are growing when they go back next week. Thank you Ty Penybont for letting us visit.
