🎨 Starting next week – get creative with us at Carnegie House!🖌️

Bridgend Town Council is excited to be launching new creative community sessions at Carnegie House this New Year.
Expect free hands-on craft activities led by a local arts tutor, time to chat and relax in our warm ground floor hall and complimentary refreshments available throughout the session.

There’ll be after-school sessions on Tuesdays for young people and afternoon sessions on Fridays for older people.

You can expect:
✔ Guided craft activities
✔ A chance to learn new skills or just have a go
✔ A welcoming warm space with drinks and biscuits

Sessions will run after school on Tuesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Friday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm

Our sessions start on Tuesday 13th January 2026 and Friday 16th January 2026

Sessions are free and there is no need to book

Please note children are to be accompanied at the sessions

Make Christmas in Bridgend County Borough a happier time by donating to the Santa Appeal 2025 🎅

In partnership with Awen and Halo Leisure, our Social Services and Wellbeing teams are encouraging residents to help bring some festive joy to vulnerable children and young people this Christmas.

Cash donations are preferred to help buy suitable presents for children and young people aged from birth to 21 years.

• Dates: October 4–5, 2025
• Details: A European Kendo Federation (EKF) event held in cooperation with MKSZ, offering high-grade Kendo seminar instruction and examinations up to 7th Dan level.
