Union is pleased to announce its first Evangelical Theological Research Conference in Bridgend, Wales, 20–21 May 2027.

At the end of his life, Daniel Rowland (1711–1790) described himself as "a poor sinner ... depending entirely on the merits of a crucified Saviour." He preached for decades in a quiet corner of Wales and left few papers behind. Yet his impact was anything but small.

Celebrated by figures such as J. C. Ryle, Howel Harris, and Lady Huntingdon, Rowland became a central voice in the Welsh Awakening. For 55 years, he urged hearers toward Christ.

These six edited sermons bring Rowland’s fervent, Christ‑exalting ministry to life once more. Readers will hear his gospel clarity, feel his pastoral warmth, and – God willing – experience "the Lord come down" as they read.
