I'm involved with an amazing community charity movement on Facebook called Giving 1%, it's a great group where people help people! A completely judgement free zone for when you're on your down and out. You simply type out your request, and other community members can choose to help you out. There are a few rules to this to keep the group safe so make sure you give them a read if you fancy joining!
we're currently fundraising for this year's christmas community care packages that will be distributed in Kent and would really appreciate any donations. This fantastic initiative has helped countless individuals and families over the years and couldn't be done without your help. 100% of the money raised goes to the cost of care packages, so you'll know your money is going directly to the people we're wanting to help.
Our current goal is £600 which will be able to make between 25-30 packages, and we're almost half way there! If we raise more, it's put towards our spring care package project.
