A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our AGM on Friday and shared such enthusiasm for our journey towards becoming a Development Trust.

We were inspired by an excellent presentation from John Main of the Development Trusts Association Scotland, who highlighted how Development Trusts are helping communities across Scotland take control of their future, create opportunities, and generate lasting local wealth.

The energy in the room, along with your ideas for future projects, showed just how much potential exists within our community.

As well as having the Repair Cafe on Saturday at Cargill Hall, the charity Creating a Sustainable Gryffe which runs the Repair Cafe will be at Bridge of Weir Gala Day this Saturday with lots of fun activities! Guess the Bear's name, Plant your own beanstalk, and an opportunity to share ideas for our community! Do come and say hi!

We're looking forward to fixing all your broken items, electrical, household, textiles, clothes, bicycles..., while you enjoy a cuppa and some delicious homebaking. Free so that everyone can afford to get things fixed, donations welcome which will help us keep running every month. We fix it so you don't have to ditch it!

SATURDAY 13th JUNE from 12noon-3pm
Bring your broken items - from electronics to clothing, and receive free repairs from skilled volunteers. Hot drinks and home baking available to those waiting on repairs. Email: [email protected]

This Saturday, come along to your local free Repair Cafe with your broken household items and our skilled volunteers will try to fix them, while you can enjoy a cuppa and some delicious homebaking. Always free, any donations will go towards the continued running of the Repair Cafe.
