The Deliverance of the Feet: Walking in Dominion and Blessing
Heavenly Father, we ask you to lay your hands upon your children. Open our understanding in Jesus' name. Amen.
Let us turn to our Bibles as we continue our study on the profound subject of strategic deliverance.
The Foundation of Deliverance
Over our past two sessions, we have established that for complete, strategic deliverance to occur, we must address specific areas of our lives. We began with the first and most critical level: deliverance from sin, for sin is the primary platform the enemy uses to operate.
We then moved to the deliverance of the head, which is the seat of your destiny and glory. Following that, we explored the deliverance of the hands, the symbol of your labor. Today, we advance to a powerful and often overlooked dimension: the deliverance of the feet.
The Spiritual Significance of Your Feet
We must understand that for every physical organ, there is a spiritual counterpart. Your feet are far more than just limbs; they are powerful spiritual symbols. They represent:
· Your Dominion and Possession: As stated in Joshua 1:3, "Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you."
· Your Power and Authority: Romans 16:20 declares, "The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly."
· Your Journey and Progress: Your feet carry you on your life's path and are instruments of your expansion.
· Your Influence: As Romans 10:15 says, "How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace." This implies that feet can carry either blessing or its opposite.
In short, your feet symbolize your God-given right to rule, control, and command your spiritual territory.
The Problem of "Bad Feet"
Just as there are beautiful feet that bring good news, the reverse is also true. There are "ugly" feet—not in appearance, but in spiritual influence. These are feet that carry bad luck, death, and frustration. You may be suffering from spiritual affliction in your feet if you identify with any of the following symptoms:
· You constantly walk into trouble or danger.
· You always arrive late for opportunities and places of honor.
· Your presence seems to bring disappointment or bad luck.
· You experience persistent, "acidic" poverty.
· You feel controlled by vagabond, restless powers.
These manifestations can be the result of inherited curses, stepping on evil charms, satanic incisions, or direct curses from dark agents.
The Path to Deliverance and Restoration
So, how do you secure the deliverance of your feet? The process requires deliberate action:
1. Surrender to Christ: Begin by genuinely repenting and forsaking your sins. Deliverance is built upon this foundation.
2. Carry Out a Spiritual Inventory: Sit down and honestly assess your life. Identify the patterns and powers that have been holding you back.
3. Execute Deliverance of the Feet: This is the spiritual work we engage in through prayer and declaration.
4. Barricade Your Legacy: Pray that your feet will henceforth only take you to your place of blessing and breakthrough, never into danger.
Your feet have a unique covenant with the earth. If they do not carry the fire of God, the enemy can manipulate your destiny through this contact point. We must pray for the same anointing that was upon Joshua's feet to come upon ours, so we can declare: "Everywhere I lay my feet, anything contrary to my peace must disappear!"
A Prayer for Deliverance and Dominion
Let us now pray with authority and faith. Lay your two hands upon your legs and pray with the same passion you have for your destiny.
For the congregation:
· "Every hand of the strong man upon my feet, catch fire in the name of Jesus!"
· "Every power of death assigned against my feet, die in the name of Jesus!"
Personal Declaration:
· "Lord, set my feet upon the path you have ordained. Locate my prosperity through my steps in the name of Jesus."
