29 members and a sister visiting from Jersey enjoyed the annual garden party. The weather could have been better but everyone enjoyed the food and company. Thanks to Mary for hosting and preparing a wonderful buffet.

Today 13 members started the day looking forward to a day in London. Unfortunately after a fall only 11 continued the journey. The East London canal boat trip was enjoyable and interesting. The tour guide and captain had a sense of humour. Sightings of heron, swans, Corcoran, malards, moorhens, coots and damselflies. Thanks to Mike for organising.

Last week 28 members enjoyed Mary’s game of ‘what’s in the envelope’. Lovely to watch everyone taking part at their challenge and having a laugh.

21 members last night for Jean”s game of quick on the draw. Lots of laughing occurred regarding drawing attempts and guesses.

Only 6 members for Sylvia's country walk this week. It was a pleasant evening and pleased to say it was not muddy along Pilgrims and Hullets Lanes. Afterwards a drink at the 'Black Horse' with four members that were already there.

Seven members visited Key Gardens today. Coffee stop before exploring, luckily no rain. Lunch at the station before the long journey back to Brentwood. Stratford station was closed due to a casualty on the track. Mike our chairman managed to find alternative route which included a bus trip from Harold Wood to Brentwood and taxi home.
