Open to people of all ages, this free community event brings together employers, training providers, support services and voluntary organisations from across the region.

Come along to explore local vacancies, apprenticeships, skills programmes and volunteering opportunities, and get advice to help you move forward with confidence.

A dedicated young people's zone will also be available for 16–24-year-olds who are NEET, providing specialist support and pathways into employment, education and training.

Fancy a quick sewing project to help keep our local community cosy this winter?

As part of our Winter Warmth campaign, we are looking for volunteer crafters to make and donate handmade draught excluders to help local adults and families stay warm.

The graphic outlines the basics (aiming for roughly 70cm by 40cm, adding a sturdy fastening like a button, zip, or velcro), but feel free to get creative with your fabrics!

Saint Francis Hospice is hosting a Volunteer Recruitment Event, and they are looking for wonderful people to join them as "Golden Heartbeats"!

Whether you are interested in helping out in their charity shops or supporting hospice services, it is a fantastic chance to find out more.
