Would you believe it, The 2023 Fayre was almost 3 months ago, won't be long until the kids go back to school (stop cheering) and it's only 124 days until Christmas.
The Fayre Committee will be back in the not too distant future to announce how much was made for all our wonderful charities and village groups, and an announcement for a very special event at the end of October will be made soon.
In the meantime, the Autumn Walk is back! Why not dig out your walking boots and gently wander the (approx) 5 mile route which includes lunch around halfway along. My spies tell me it could very well be a hog roast with apple sauce and all the trimmings.
Organised by the 1st Blackmore Scout Group, it is a fun couple of hours, so why not register now. If you need any more encouragement, you may well end up passing one of our lovely village pubs on your way home. It would be rude not to pop in, just for a quick one.....
