Join us for a summer packed with sport, creativity, games, food, conversation, new friendships and loads of opportunities to get involved.

Whether you're looking to get active, learn something new, hang out with friends or simply have somewhere safe and welcoming to spend time, we've got something for you.

💭 "There's nothing for young people in Brentwood."

We hear it all the time.

And if we're honest, sometimes young people have every right to feel that way.

That's why we're working to change it.

We're exploring the launch of a new weekly youth club near Brentwood town centre — a safe place to belong, build friendships, try new things, get support, and simply be yourself.

But creating opportunities for young people doesn't happen by accident.

It takes people.

People willing to give a little time. People willing to listen. People willing to encourage the next generation.

So as we develop plans, we're looking for local people who would like to be part of the team.

✨ AFTER SCHOOL YOUTH CLUB IN BRENTWOOD ✨

Looking for a safe, welcoming place for your young person after school?

Every Wednesday during term time, young people join us at Doddinghurst Road Community Church for an afternoon packed with activities, games, conversation, food projects and opportunities to connect with others.

Whether they want to get involved in activities, play games, make new friends, chat with our team of trusted adults or simply relax in a safe space, there's something for everyone.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected

We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that has impacted our community.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the young person's family, friends, school and all those affected.

Today, we have been out supporting young people and will continue working alongside local partners and Schools to provide appropriate support during this difficult time.

Please rely on information shared by Essex Police - Brentwood and avoid speculation or rumours online.

We'll be bringing activities, games, conversation, creative opportunities, snacks and a welcoming space for young people throughout the day.

National Volunteer Week is a chance to pause and recognise the incredible people who make so much of our work possible.

Behind every youth club session, detached outreach shift, school visit, community event, mentoring conversation and fundraising effort are volunteers who choose to give their time to support local young people.

They show up.

They make a difference.

A fantastic evening at the ECVYS - Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services Annual Celebration.

It was inspiring to be alongside youth organisations from across Essex, Southend and Thurrock, together with partners from Brentwood Borough Council, the and the , Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex , celebrating the impact of youth work and hearing about exciting initiatives including the 2025–26 Youth Voice Listening Project and the Essex Youth Map.

The voluntary youth sector continues to play a vital role in supporting, listening to and advocating for young people. Behind every project, club, mentoring session and conversation are dedicated people making a real difference in young lives every day.

We're grateful to be part of such a passionate network, working together to help young people feel connected, valued and heard.
