If you’re currently working on a draft application, or thinking about applying for funding or just need business advice, this is a chance to talk through your ideas, gain feedback, and strengthen your submission. ✍️📝

🌟 Open Advice Session - Application Surgery (THIS Wednesday) 🌟

This Wednesday we are running a special Open Advice Session, offering the chance to receive dedicated 1:1 advice and guidance on your funding ideas or applications.

Artists, creatives and entrepreneurs are invited to bring along a draft application, live opportunity, or early-stage idea and work through it in a practical one-to-one conversation.

We’ll explore:
• How funders read and assess applications
• Understanding eligibility and strategic fit
• A guided review of your own application
• Ways to strengthen clarity, outcomes and credibility

This session is designed to help you build confidence and improve the strength of your submissions.

We’re opening the doors of The Creative Hub on Friday 14th November for a day of free advice sessions - a chance for artists, emerging creatives, entrepreneurs, and business owners to sit down for a one-to-one chat about their ideas, challenges, and next steps.

There are just two from four slots left available, so if you’ve been waiting for the right moment to seek guidance or clarity, this is it.

You’ll be meeting with Charlotte Robinson - Producer of Co-LABs, and Founder of Minus Cloud Nine and The Creative Hub Brentwood. With a background in both the creative industries and mental health, Charlotte brings a unique perspective on balancing passion with purpose.

Joining Charlotte in the spirit of collaboration are Maj and Lisa, the dynamic duo behind Brennan & Burch with lots of experience in fashion, art, grant writing and community projects.

Having built their entire business together as a creative partnership, Maj and Lisa will be sharing honest insights into what it takes to sustain long-term collaboration, balance individuality within teamwork, and grow a creative brand that stays authentic to its roots.

🎅 Wreath Making Workshop ❄️
Dates added for Christmas workshops;
13th November 5pm - 7pm
14th November 12pm - 2pm
14th November 3pm - 5pm

Suitable for anyone, this workshop will be a small group of up to eight. You will learn the art of wreath making; it's the perfect craft to get into the festive spirit!

By the end of this session you will have:
Made your very own wreath
Learned to made and decorate a wreath with either fresh or dried flowers and foliage
Built enough confidence to make your own wreath at home
