I visited Brentwood Foodbank last week where they are serving 150,000 meals per year to 500 families in times of need. The staff and volunteers run the Foodbank in such a warm and friendly way. Everyone is welcomed with tea, coffee and biscuits. There are tables to sit and have a chat so that users can make connections. They also run crafting activities. This appears to be a very special and much-needed facility. Thank you for inviting me to visit.

Brentwood Foodbank is looking for a reliable, compassionate volunteer to join us at our Doddinghurst Road Distribution Centre on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (ideally available on both days).

The role involves packing food parcels, welcoming and supporting clients, and helping with refreshments.

Every couple of months, we hold these drives to remind everyone to donate just a few items. It’s truly inspiring to see how our community comes together. 🙏

Alongside our Foodbank you are welcome to join us on Wednesdays for our Craft Table – bring your own craft, enjoy a coffee, and spend time chatting with others in a relaxed and welcoming space.

🌟 As one of the organisations supported by Beauty Banks, Brentwood Foodbank would like to share an exciting fundraising campaign that helps make a real difference to people facing hardship.

Beauty Banks provides essential hygiene products such as shampoo, toothpaste, soap and deodorant to organisations like ours, helping ensure that people have access to everyday basics many of us take for granted.

To continue this vital work, Beauty Banks has launched The Beauty Banks Heist – featuring an online auction, beauty raffle and lifestyle raffle with some fantastic prizes.

Every ticket purchased, bid placed, and social media share helps support their work and enables them to continue providing essential hygiene products to those who need them most.
