Wonderful results for 3 of our Members at Area Day last Wednesday with Val Powell and Ann Kinsey gaining 2nd place in the Club Class "Seasonal Splendour"; Rachel Williams received Highly Commended in the Novice Class "Down the Garden Path" and Ann Kinsey received Highly Commended in her Pave design.

13 Members of the Club took part in the annual Plough Flower Festival last weekend. Two of our Members - Margaret Eckley and Rachel Williams entered exhibits in Brecon County Show last Saturday and came away with First and Second Prizes between them. Well done ladies and many congratulations,

Many congratulations to club Members Mary Olsen and Dilys Ayling for exhibiting in this year's Royal Welsh Show. Mary entered the "Chandelier" Class and won first prize with Dilys entering "Exotic Asia" gaining a Very Highly Commended - well done ladies. We send our congratulations to Delyth Price for winning Best in Show and the Marquis of Anglesey Trophy for the highest number of points in the Brecknock Feature County Year.

Our Shrub of the month was won by Anona Lewis with her hydrangea and the Flower of the month was won by Val Powell with her yellow rose - well done ladies.

Following on from our Workshop last week, our floral arrangement competition of "Supermarket flowers in a basket" was won by Val Powell, 2nd - Lynda Payant, 3rd - Hazel Lloyd - well done ladies.
