This petition calls on the Welsh Government and Senedd to immediately unfreeze approved gender-affirming surgeries and protect patients already receiving care through the Welsh Gender Service. Nobody who has waited years for essential healthcare should have that care pulled away at the last minute.

Please add your name and help us push this towards 10,000 signatures, when it can be considered for a debate in the Senedd.

Saturday was a day filled with love in Brecon. Sadly, in Berlin, that same love was met with an act of hate that claimed a life, seriously injured others, and showed exactly the reason why Pride is still so important. We may be a small charity, but strength lies in numbers, and we join countless others as we stand with Berlin 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🇩🇪

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported Brecon Pride yesterday in any capacity. Every year we get bigger and brighter, and it's thanks to your support that we're able to keep going! A few extra special shout-outs:

- First, to our team of volunteers. So much hard work goes into planning the main event and all the fundraisers that lead up to it. None of this happens without that dedication, and with so many other small Pride organisations closing due to a lack of volunteer support, it's great that we have some truly committed members.

- To Town Council for continuing to support our important event.

- To The Wellington Hotel for hosting so many fundraising events and putting on a truly fabulous after party!

- And to Brecon Little Theatre, who, as well as performing on the day, had so many of their own members who dedicated their time to lending a hand with the running of the event.

We can't wait to do it all again next year! Here's to Brecon Pride 2027! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
