πŸ™ŒπŸ«ΆπŸ‘πŸ™This week is Volunteers Week, an appropriate time and opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to every volunteer who gives their time, skills and enthusiasm to support LNBP Community Boating at Braunston.

Volunteers' Week runs during the first week of June every year across the UK, this year from Monday 1st to Sunday 7th June. It is an annual nationwide celebration dedicated to recognising the millions of people who generously give their time to support charities, grassroots groups, and local communities

LNBP rely on the countless hours and unwavering passion of our volunteers which enables the opportunity for community groups and organisations to enjoy the residential experiences on our boats that we continue to provide.

Although our boats are moored and trips start from Braunston in Northamptonshire, our volunteers are based in various locations across the country, not only locally and regionally but as far away as Surrey, Kent and Lancashire. It is a measure of the dedication of our team behind the scenes and what they do - whether it be maintaining our boats and skippering them on residential trips or fundraising, taking care of admin, finance and management, marketing and a whole lot more - that brings it altogether.

Quite simply, we could not achieve what we do without you.

So thank you to all our volunteers for everything you do.

And that is that. Gates shut, doors closed and trip boats locked to wrap up the Crick Boat Show for 2026.

Thank you to everyone who visited us over the weekend and booked trip boat tickets with us. We hope you enjoyed them, and thank you to everyone who kindly donated either by cash in the buckets or by card payments. It is greatly appreciated.

Thank you also to everyone who has made enquiries with us and took time to find out more about our residential holidays and short breaks for community groups. We have met some lovely people over the course of the weekend and will be following up on all your interest in the coming week.

And last but by no means least, a huge thank you to all our LNBP team for everyone's hard work and contributions over the last few days. Once again, in whatever capacity you have been involved, you have all been immense. And our involvement at Crick simply would not happen without you. So thank you.

Look out for more post-Crick pics and vids over the coming week.
But for now, safe trips home everyone...and thank you.
