First GC meeting of 2024 just finished. Thanks to all committee that turned out on this cold evening.
It’s the first opportunity to let you all know that the recent Christmas market and Christmas Draw raised an astonishing £1237.45. Thanks to all involved, including the stallholders, TheButchers ArmsBraithwell, Santa for dropping by, all the raffle donations and BFestBraithwell for Santa’s gifts donation, Shaun Angell for stepping in to the breach and started flipping burgers and not forgetting you that attended the day and bought raffle tickets. That has replenished our coffers which all gets spent on the betterment of the village and local causes. For example, tonight we agreed a £750 donation to the Warm Space organised by The Friends of the Masters House.
We are a small committee and always looking for new members that would like to get involved in giving some time and effort for the benefit of this wonderful village and local community we live in. Anyone interested please feel free to message through this page and someone will be happy to contact you directly to discuss and answer any questions you may have.
Here’s to a great 2024 and keep your eyes peeled for our Easter Draw
