A group of 20 ladies ventured out on a wet and chilly day in June to visit Copped Hall in Epping. The Georgian mansion and gardens which are located in parkland are currently under restoration. We had an informative guided tour of the house and gardens with a welcome hot drink and homemade cake halfway round. Despite the weather we had an enjoyable day out โ˜”๏ธ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฅถโ˜”๏ธ

We had a busy March meeting on Tuesday. Firstly we were all mesmerised by Tabitha Mitchell-Simons and how she used textiles to tell her stories.

We then held our annual craft show. There were four categories and members voted for their favourites in each. The winners in each class were awarded a small prize. The overall winner was Janice who took home the Handicraft Show Cup.
