Rayne WI A Warm Welcome to Rayne WI, established in 1918. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month in Rayne Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Visitors are always very welcome, come along and give us a try! The WI offers opportunities for all women to enjoy friendship, to learn, to widen their horizons and together to influence local, national and international affairs

Rayne WI craft ladies worked very hard today making these beautiful fabric covered books with decorative spines. There was a lot of concentration needed at times, but the result was this colourful array of hand made books! Well done everyone.

Last night we held our August meeting and our speaker for the evening was Ian Kirby who told us the story of The Mitford Family. They definitely were an eccentric, aristocratic family whose stories have captivated the interest of the public over the years. I’m sure there is so much more to know. Maybe a little more research is required 🤔

We also celebrated two special birthdays this month. Mary and Barbara are celebrating reaching the age of 90 years young. Happy birthday to you both from Rayne WI 🍰🎉🥳

For the second year it was decided to have a an additional bursary and congratulations goes to Sandra who was the lucky recipient 😀
