🌟 Autumn 2026 Bookings Now Open! 🌟

We are now taking bookings for Autumn 2026 at our term-time preschool.

Nestled in the heart of Bradninch, The Duchy Preschool is a community-focused, non-profit organisation.

Our setting offers a warm and welcoming indoor environment, alongside a spacious outdoor area where children can play, explore, and learn through nature.

We currently have fully funded places available for children aged 9 months to 4 years.

Duchy Preschool’s Holiday Club is back for another year! We are really looking forward to welcoming our families for a summer full of fun-filled activities.

As last year, the holiday club will be based at Duchy Primary School, Bowley Meadow site.

We have a wide range of activities planned to keep the children happy and entertained throughout their time at the club.

We will share more information about the activities and plans over the coming weeks.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧?
Our sessions will run on the following weeks:
• Week com 27th July – Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm
• Week com 3th August – Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm
• Week com 10th August – Monday to Friday, 9am – 3pm

𝐖𝐡𝐨 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝?
The Holiday Club is open to:
3 - 11 years

𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧
If you have any funded hours remaining at the end of the summer term, you will be able to use them for holiday club, you are also able to pay for sessions via any of the voucher/tax free childcare schemes as you do now.

𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬
3/4-Year-Olds:
• £42 Full Day (9am–3pm)
• £21 Half Day (9am–12pm or 12pm–3pm)
Prices include snacks and outings. Please provide a packed lunch if staying all day.

Primary School-Aged Children:
• £38 Full Day (9am–3pm)
• £19 Half Day (9am–12pm or 12pm–3pm)
Prices include snacks and outings. Please provide a packed lunch if staying all day.

Dear Parents/carers

Supervised Toothbrushing Programme

We are delighted to share that we passed our Supervised Toothbrushing Programme inspection on Friday with no recommendations 🎉

The inspector noted that the children were confident and engaged in their toothbrushing, and praised the team for doing a fantastic job delivering the programme.

Well done to everyone involved – we’re very proud!

Dear Parents and Carers

We would like to wish all our families a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year 🎄✨

We will be closing our doors for the Christmas break at 6pm this evening and will reopen on Monday 5th January at 7.45am.

✨ 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝗰𝗵𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹!✨

A huge thank you to our wonderful local community and all of our amazing stall holders for supporting the Duchy Preschool’s 2025 Christmas Fayre on Sunday.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised just under £800, which will go towards projects that help enhance our preschool’s provision.

🥧A special thank you to Bradninch SPAR for providing the delicious mince pies, the Bradninch Choir for filling the hall with festive cheer, and Sean Rads for lending us his snow machine — the children were absolutely delighted!❄️❄️❄️

🎅And last but certainly not least, a massive thank you to Simon Crawford, our brilliant Santa, who spoke to over 40 children in the grotto and helped kick-start a truly magical Christmas for them all.🎅
