Malawi Maternity Clinic

This Sunday, sister Zara Hussain will be running the London Marathon in loving memory of our beloved Baji Rashda, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2024.
In her memory, Zara is raising funds to help build a maternity unit in a rural village in Malawi. This will be the only maternity facility within a 40km radius, and for many pregnant women and newborn babies, it will be a true lifeline.

This is Zara’s first ever marathon, and she has taken on this huge challenge with love, courage and a beautiful intention: to honour Baji Rashda’s memory by helping save lives.

Please donate whatever you can. No amount is too small. Your donation could help provide safety, dignity and care to mothers and babies who currently have nowhere nearby to turn.
