We are thrilled to announce that Real Hope Initiative CIC has partnered with Voice4Change England to deliver EducateHer Climate Initiative in Bradford; a community-owned, intersectional climate leadership programme for girls and young women aged 14 to 29 from Bradford’s BME communities.
EducateHer is built on a simple but radical premise: the girls most affected by the climate crisis are also the girls most capable of solving it, if given the tools, the space and the belief that their leadership matters.
Through Climate-Smart Education workshops, Climate Cafes, Girl-Led Community Climate Action and the Where Climate Meets Race Conference, we will be developing Bradford’s next generation of climate leaders, young women who will shape their communities, their city and their future.
This partnership is funded by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation through V4CE’s Where Climate Meets Race Strategy and supported by an academic partnership with Gender Inclusive Climate Change Governance at the University of Bradford.
If you know a girl or young woman aged 14 to 29 in Bradford who should be part of this; send her our way.
