WHAT A NIGHT! THE BAT WALK WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

What a fantastic evening we had at The Bat Walk! 🌙🦇

A huge 52 people joined us for an evening of fascinating bat facts, bat detecting, fresh air and plenty of fun, and from the feedback we've received, everyone had a brilliant time!

And of course… the bat stickers handed out on arrival were a particular hit! 😂🦇

We received some lovely feedback, including:
💬 "It's great to see you doing things like this; it's what our village needs. Keep doing what you're doing!"

It's comments like this that mean so much to us. ❤️ We want to continue creating opportunities for our community to come together, try something different and enjoy everything our wonderful village has to offer.

A special thank you to Ian Butterfield for hosting the walk and sharing his incredible knowledge and enthusiasm for bats. Ian is a passionate bat enthusiast who has been running bat walks for many years, and it was fantastic to have him lead the evening. The bat detectors were a real highlight and gave everyone a fascinating insight into the bats around us. 🦇🔊

We were also delighted to raise £217.50 for Haworth Village Hall! 🎉 Every penny raised helps us towards keeping our wonderful village hall open and available for our community.

This event was part of the Haworth Festival events programme, and we really hope we can bring more events like this to the village in the future.

Judging by the smiles, laughter and fantastic feedback, we'd say this one was a definite success! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us. Your support really does make a difference. ❤️

And finally… who knew there were so many bats flying around Haworth?! 🦇🌙😂

📸 Here are some photos from a wonderful evening!
