Let's beat the box that all too often physically and metaphorically excludes the homeless. Beat the Box is a project created by a group of 16-17 year olds who are participating in the NCS youth programme with the Woodcraft Folk. Our aim is to raise awareness about homelessness in Bradford, to highlight the issues that homeless people face and try to raise funds for a local homeless charity, BCCP,
which helps to house young people between 16 and 25 who for various reasons have become homeless and are in need of support. We have lots planned for next week as part of the project, including a massive FLASH MOB in City Park on Wednesday 11-1, and a SPONSORED STREET SLEEPOUT in Bradford on Wednesday night.
