Being a Coop member is a great way to save money on many products and services. It's also a good opportunity to support local causes. If you are already a coop member, please choose us at the Rockwell Centre as your chosen, local cause. It will help us achieve our goal of intergenerational food growing and cooking skills, sharing knowledge and experiences across the age spectrum.

Crikey it's been a hot one this week for our 4th week of activities.

Monday saw the Community Clean up get under way with our HAF young people volunteering to litter pick on Summerfield Road and surrounding streets.

The Community BBQ was well earnt after all that hard work and our visit from the Council was very impressed with the childrens efforts.

Tuesday was a very special treat where 45 young people went to Flamingo Land. That was an early start with all those packed lunches to do.

Thursday was our final one for this week with Fairies Wardrobe-Magical Birthday Parties. Kidchella Festival.

What a great week it has been and thank you to all those that have volunteered with us this week with Geoff Wright and Kevin Brown

We start again on Monday 17th with our Forest School and then Boxing and Kick Boxing on Tuesday.

It's this one today. Garden is all ready. Plenty of food and drinks.

Final session for this week is the Monthly, Saturday Craft Session.

We'll get all the resources out, there will be Sewing, Knitting, Crocheting, Diamond Art and lots more.

We'll provide a light lunch around 12.30pm

Just turn up and enjoy. You can bring your own craft or join in with ours.

Another busy week at The Rockwell Community Centre

Tuesday was Yeadon Tarn Water day with Community Buses Bradford CIC

On Wednesday we enjoyed another Family Day with Linda Baker and Camouflage Art.
We also had the ever popular Diamond Art crafts, Inflatable Penalty Shoot Out and Lego Robotics with University of Bradford.

Finally, today our Haf young people joined the Colour Run at Peel Park with Bradford Youth Service

Don't know where they get their energy from, must be all those wholesome meals and packed lunches they keep eating.
