‼️ JOINT UNION MEETING ‼️

As the recognised representatives of all employees at the University of Bradford, the Joint Unions are to hold a meeting for all employees.

Phase 1 of the organisational change has now closed, and the decisions that have been made will have a huge impact upon the next round of organisational change.

We would strongly urge you to attend this meeting and bring along any other colleagues in your team/work area so they can also understand what is happening especially as we ramp up towards the launch of phase 2 which is IMMINENT!

📰 The University of Bradford is proposing cuts which could see more than 200 people lose their jobs as it looks to address a £16m hole in its finances.

That's around 20% of the entire workforce.

UNISON is calling on leaders at the university to do all they can to avoid compulsory redundancies.

On the 13th of March, Executive Board announced that the University of Bradford Nursery will close on Thursday 31st July 2025 if no 'viable alternative' is found to keep this open.

This will affect countless students and staff members, leaving many feeling anxious and stressed with few other options.
