Oxenhope Youth Club We run every Friday (Term Time) at Oxenhope Community Centre, 6:15pm till 8:45pm.

Youth club and access to Youth Service facilities for secondary school-aged young people from school year 7 and above, living in and around Oxenhope, West Yorkshire.

Youth Club starts again on Friday the 13th of September 😃. The Committee would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of a few things:

Our sessions are “open access” sessions, meaning young people are free to come and go as they please and, other than registering their attendance when they first arrive, they’re not signed in and out of the centre. We cannot insist that they stay in the centre and once they leave, we can no longer take responsibility for them. We are only responsible for young people when they’re in the centre or taking part in activities run by us.

We want to stress the importance of parents discussing suitable boundaries with their child(ren) and making sure that if they’re coming to Youth Club that they’re signing in and not just hanging around in the area around the centre. We would also appreciate it if parents could make arrangements for the safe journey home of their child(ren), especially as the nights are drawing in. Please note that we cannot be responsible for escorting young people home after the session closes at 8:45pm.

We run every Friday night (September to July) between 6.15pm and 8.45pm at Oxenhope Community Centre. We are open to all secondary school-aged young people. We ask for £1 a week subs to help us cover room hire costs. Youth Club is run by a Committee and sessions are supported by three Bradford Council Youth Workers thanks to funding from Oxenhope Parish Council.

We hope all the young people who attend enjoy and value their time at Oxenhope Youth Club. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via private message. 👍
