Proud to see InTouch Foundation’s work highlighted by Asian Standard.

A 30% rise in people needing food support is a stark reminder of the pressure families across Bradford are facing.

People are working, yet their wages are no longer stretching far enough.

I’m proud of our volunteers and supporters who continue to step up and make a real difference.

But the need is growing. We need to keep working together.

The service user, who has asked to remain anonymous, said they never imagined they would reach a point where earning a wage was no longer enough to cover food alongside rent, energy, council tax, travel and other household bills. There were evenings when they would simply go to bed rather than spend...

Last night at InTouch Foundation ❤️

Another evening of food, care and community.

Our volunteers were busy preparing and distributing hot meals to people in our community who needed a little extra support. From freshly prepared rice and curry, pakoras and spring rolls to something sweet afterwards, every meal was packed with care.

It is easy to take a warm meal for granted. For someone struggling, it can mean so much more.

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, supporters and everyone who helps us keep this work going. Your generosity allows us to continue putting food on tables and bringing a little dignity, warmth and kindness to those who need it most.

This is what community is about. ❤️

Connecting communities is what we do best here at InTouch. We held a Community iftar yesterday at cafe west, Allerton.

We had enough food for a a sit down meal at the centre and were also able to distribute to refugees and asylum seeker families that live in the area.

We also distributed food and hygeine gift packs to all.

This wouldnt have been possible without our partnership with Muslim Aid.

We may be in a cold spell but our volunteers are still keeping our friends warm by disturbing winter warmer packs which include hats, gloves, scarves, ear muffs and winter socks with thanks to Muslim Aid for their support!
