🏆AURORA — RUNNER-UP FOR INSPIRING YOUNG PERSON OF THE YEAR! 🌟

We’re incredibly proud to share that Aurora, one of our young volunteers, was nominated by Keighley Town Council — and was named Runner-Up! 👏

We are absolutely delighted that her contribution as a young volunteer has been recognised. We’re incredibly proud of Aurora and of all of the wonderful young volunteers who give their time, energy and kindness to support our Community Fridge.

Well done, Aurora — and a huge thank you to all of our amazing young volunteers!🌟💚

🥫❤️ NATIONAL FOODBANK DAY ❤️🥫

Behind every food parcel is a person. Behind every donation is an act of kindness. And behind every volunteer is someone who chose to care.

Over the past year, together we have helped thousands of families and individuals across our community, while also rescuing perfectly good surplus food that could otherwise have gone to waste.

But these aren’t just numbers. They’re people. They’re families. They’re lives.

To every volunteer, donor, supermarket, business, school and member of our community who has stood beside us, thank you. 🙏

Because of you, people in our community know that they are not alone!

💚 Together, we can make sure no one goes hungry and no good food goes to waste.

A huge thank you to Sam from Phoenix waste removals. 💙

After a local community member shared a video on Facebook, Sam saw it and got in touch to ask how she could help. The very next day, she went out, did a fantastic shop, and arrived with an incredible donation for our foodbank.

We are so grateful for her kindness and generosity. It’s amazing how one shared post can inspire someone to take action and make such a meaningful difference to local people in need.

Thank you, Sam, for your support and compassion. Your generosity will help so many people in our community. 💚

Please keep sharing our posts—you never know who might see them and be inspired to help.

Appreciation post💚

Every couple of weeks, we collect a trolley full of donations from Asda, and each time we are reminded just how generous and caring our community is.

These essential items have been donated by shoppers who, while doing their own shopping, are thinking of those who are struggling locally. Your kindness is making a real difference to families and individuals across our community.

We are blessed to receive regular donations of fruit and vegetables from local supermarkets, but it is these donations from members of the public that truly make a huge difference. The tins, pasta, cereal, toiletries and other essentials you place in the trolley help us provide balanced and practical support to those who need it most.

You may never meet the people whose lives you are touching, but please know that you are the unsung heroes of our community. Your generosity, compassion and willingness to think of others ensure that nobody has to face difficult times alone.

From all of us at the foodbank, thank you. 💚

Thank you, Keighley, for standing together and caring for one another.

THANK YOU KEIGHLEY💚

A huge thank you to the amazing Keighley community for all of your support over the weekend. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we managed to collect 52 crates of donations, which will make a real difference to local people and families who are struggling within our community.

We also raised an incredible £197.68 in cash donations, which will be used to purchase essential food items over the coming months to help support those most in need.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a huge difference in someone’s life, and we are so grateful to everyone who stopped to support us.

A special shoutout to Becky at Asda for organising this fantastic food drive, and to our incredible team of volunteers. Giving up your time to support others is never easy, but every single one of you was amazing this weekend — we truly couldn’t do this without you all.

Thank you for helping us support those who need it most!

Today we’re proud to be hosting a community food drive at Asda Keighley, where our amazing team of volunteers are on hand all day to receive any donations that people are able to spare. Every single item donated makes a huge difference to individuals and families across our local community.💚

A special shoutout goes to our young volunteers, who have been speaking with customers throughout the day with such confidence, kindness and respect. They are a real credit to themselves and our community, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way they are representing the foodbank today.

Thank you so much to everybody who has already stopped by and donated — your generosity is greatly appreciated. If you’re nearby, we’d love to welcome you down to show your support and help us continue supporting local people in need.

Please come and show your support this weekend 💚
