Life can be tough, and sometimes it is hard to know where to turn. We want to make sure everyone in our community can find the help they need.
We have put together two simple guides to help you find local support:
1. The Advice Map
Look at image’s to see where advice services are located near you.
• The dark blue circle shows services within 3 miles of the Karmand Community Centre.
• The light blue circle shows services within 5 miles.
• The map helps you see at a glance which services are closest to your home.
2. The Contact List
Look at image’s to find the right people to call. This list includes:
• Help with money and benefits: Places that can give you advice on bills and payments.
• Housing help: If you are worried about your home or have nowhere to stay, there is support available.
• Food and supplies: If you are struggling to buy food, nappies, or other essentials, this list shows you where to go for help.
• Specialist support: Help for families, people with disabilities, and people who need advice on immigration.
How to get help:
• Find the right service: Use the list to find the name of the group that deals with your problem.
• Check the details: The list tells you the phone number and how to get in touch with them.
• Reach out: Do not be afraid to call or visit these groups. They are there to help you.
