In Loving Memory of Mohammed Riaz
Tassadiq, Zam, Shaf, Fiaz and Ilyas generously donated a large haul of essential food and drink items to JTI Community Fridge in the loving memory of their late father, Mohammed Riaz.
Mohammed Riaz was a man who cared deeply for his community. He believed in supporting local causes and spent his life generously helping those most in need. His legacy of kindness and compassion continues to inspire everyone who knew him.
His family have been at the heart of JTI Community Fridge from the very beginning—volunteering their time, supervising projects, making generous donations, and more recently leading fundraising efforts and helping to raise awareness through our social media platforms.
It is especially heartwarming to see three generations of the family involved. Alongside their parents, Mohammed Riaz’s grandchildren have also been volunteering, helping with collections, fundraising, and supporting the work of the Community Fridge. It is a beautiful example of a legacy of charity being passed from one generation to the next.
Their dedication is a fitting tribute to a man whose life was devoted to helping others, and we pray that every act of kindness they carry out continues to benefit him in the Hereafter.
May Allah Almighty grant Mohammed Riaz (Marhoom) a drink from the blessed hands of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at the Pool of Al-Kawthar, forgive his shortcomings, expand and illuminate his grave, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen, summa Ameen.
