Hi, I’m Shoaib Khan, a Law student and the General Secretary of the Social Justice Society at the University of Bradford.

I have served as an International Students Officer and Minority Ethnicities Officer at the University of Bradford Union. I’m passionate about inclusion, diversity, human rights, social justice, and community growth and support. This work was recognised when I received the UBU Unsung Hero Award 2022–2023.

I joined the society to encourage and empower our community and to spread a message of peace, love, and justice.

After 15 years away from education, I’ve come back with real life experience and a strong belief in social justice. I believe in being non-judgemental and that everyone deserves second chances, something I understand from my own journey.

I have over 20 years’ experience in health and social care. I’ve supported young people, carers, and local communities, and I also have lived experience as a carer. I’m passionate about human rights, social justice, and supporting communities.
