We are humbled and deeply honored to share a historic milestone for 'Masjid Nur ~ The Lux Mosque'
With immense gratitude to Allah, we have newly installed our official heritage plaque to commemorate The Humaitharian Accord; formalising our official twinning with the blessed Masjid and Maqam of Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhili (Allah sanctify his secrets) in Humaithara.
As the only mosque in the world blessed with this unique privilege, we have witnessed continuous spiritual openings, barakah, and grace through our connection to the great Imam.
𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑆𝑎𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑑 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑘 & 𝐺𝑜𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑛 𝐶ℎ𝑎𝑖𝑛:
This extraordinary honor is deeply rooted in our spiritual lineage through our venerable Shaykh, His Eminence Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi الشيخ محمد اليعقوبي (may Allah preserve him). His profound mastery, direct noble connection, and guidance along the golden path of the Shadhili way serve as the bridge linking our community directly to the spiritual heritage of Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhili. It is through his guidance and continuous blessings that this sacred link was established and preserved.
This sacred bond is not only spiritual but dynamic and impactful. Through the generosity of our local and wider community, we have been honoured to support the village of Humaithara over the past year; raising and delivering over £25,000 in vital aid and humanitarian support.

Historic Honour: Marking our standing as the sole mosque globally twinned with the Maqam of Imam Abu al-Hasan al-Shadhili.
Spiritual Lineage: Rooted in the guidance of His Eminence Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi and the golden chain of the Shadhili order.
Community Impact: Over £25,000 raised in the past 12 months to support the residents and needs of Humaithara.
Shared Vision: Uniting communities through a shared love of the Shadhili Sufi order and serving humanity.
