We had great conversation and laughs, some local insights (spotting Richard Dunne building on the horizon!) and then hail to top it off!

Are you passionate about supporting older people to live well, stay independent, and remain connected to their communities?

Age UK Bradford District is looking for an Information Assistant to join our friendly team based at our Wrose and Shipley Community Hubs.

🕒 12 hours per week
📍 Wrose & Shipley Community Hubs
📅 Working days: Wednesday & Thursday (with flexibility to cover holidays)

What we offer:
✔ Extensive training
✔ 5 weeks holiday + Bank Holidays (pro rata)
✔ Company Sick Pay Scheme (following probation)

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:
- Handle enquiries via telephone, email and web services
- Update our Charitylog database
- Deliver InformationPlus drop-in sessions
- Support volunteers providing information services
- Help maintain information points across our Community Hubs

We’re looking for someone with strong administration and communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Please note: This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, arranged and paid for by Age UK Bradford District.

💷 Salary: £24,454.04 FTE (£7,931.04 actual salary based on 12 hours per week)

Roberts Park today and Chellow Dean on Thursdays, two lovely spots to take in Spring!

The two new walks are 30-45 minutes at a gentle pace.

Basic routes with benches to stop at if needed, with a trained walk leader for guidance.
