We’ve got a lovely week ahead at Storehouse, and everyone is welcome.

✂️ **Wednesday**
Joe from Storehouse Strands has appointments available at 11:00am and 2:00pm**. We’ll also be open for drinks, so pop in for a brew, a chat, and a warm welcome.

🎨 **Thursday, 10:00am–12:00pm**
The Unitedartproject will be with us for a FREE art workshop as part of Refugee Week. This will be a relaxed, welcoming creative session, bringing people together through art, conversation and community.

🖌️ **Thursday, 1:00pm–3:00pm**
Our weekly FREE art group with Beth and the crew is back. No experience needed, just come along, have a go, meet others, and enjoy a friendly creative space.

🧵 **Friday, 1:00pm–3:00pm**
Our Social Sew & Sews group is also meeting. Bring a sewing project, learn simple skills, make something new, or just come for a brew and good company.

☕ **Open Thursday and Friday, 9:00am–4:00pm**
We’ll be serving our full menu both days, so you can pop in for food, drinks, community and a warm welcome.

Same sea. Same reference. Completely different waves. 🌊🎨

That’s the joy of making art together.

Around one table, with the same brushes, paints and starting point, each person found their own rhythm: darker skies, brighter foam, calmer waters, wilder movement. No two paintings became the same, because no two people see the world in quite the same way.

Our seascape session at Storehouse was full of focus, laughter, courage and creativity — a reminder that art is not about copying perfectly, but about noticing, responding and finding your own mark.

We’ve had a great time welcoming Joe to Storehouse today for our pop-up hair styling and cutting session. ✂️

It’s brilliant to see another creative art form taking shape at Storehouse — bringing skill, care and craft into the space, and offering quality cuts at great value for children, young people and adults in the heart of BD4.

Today at Storehouse, we spent time working on lighthouse paintings — exploring stormy skies, rough seas and different ways of using paint to create movement and atmosphere.

It was great to see the range of approaches around the table, from bold colour to darker, more textured pieces.

A good creative session, with plenty of conversation along the way.
