A huge thank you to Joe, who raised an amazing £145 for Storehouse through his cut-a-thon! ✂️💛

Joe will be joining us every other Wednesday throughout the academic year, so get booked in by contacting him directly on 07961 073601.

Today at Storehouse we have freshly baked brownies and chilli cheese scones, alongside our regular cakes bakes and quality food and drink

Our hearts are full tonight. This is why Storehouse exists. ❤️

It was so lovely to see our little corner of BD4 filled with children, families, creativity, laughter and good food today.

A massive thank you to Kayle and everyone from United Arts Project for making it such a special day.

We also had a little bird join us who really didn’t seem to want to leave! Thanks to Amy, it has now safely flown away, hopefully back to its nest. 🐦

There’s still time to book! 🎨✂️☕️

We’re really looking forward to a busy final week of the summer holidays at Storehouse, and there are still spaces available for our Summer Arts Workshops, Tuesday to Friday, 10am–12pm.

Kayle and the team from United Arts Project have been busy preparing four brilliant mornings of creative activities for children aged 5–11.

Joe will be at Storehouse offering back-to-school haircuts on a pay-as-you-feel basis.

Every penny given for the haircuts will go directly towards Storehouse funds, helping us continue providing affordable food, creative activities and a welcoming community space here in BD4.

Sorry we’ve been so quiet on here over the summer! ☀️

The fact that I’m back posting probably means one thing… the school holidays are nearly over! 😭😂

But we’re determined to make the most of that final week, and we’re really looking forward to seeing lots of you back at Storehouse.

🎨 Monday 24 August, 11am–2pm
The United Art Project are taking over Storehouse for WITHOUT WORDS – a brilliant afternoon of arty fun, doodling, painting, experimenting and creating.

🎨 Tuesday 25–Friday 28 August, 10am–12pm
Storehouse Summer Club for children aged 5–11, with a different hands-on art workshop each morning.

Across the week there’ll be painting, paper puppets, paper flowers, wings and wands.

Spaces are limited to 8 children per session and each day is booked separately:

✂️ And if the children need sorting before September, Joe will be here for back-to-school haircuts too. To book with Joe call 07061 073801.

Change of plan today but we still got the paints out and had a lovely watercolour session at Storehouse.

There was colour, chat, splashes, happy accidents and some really beautiful work around the table. Sometimes the best sessions are the ones that take a slightly different direction.

Another busy one at Storehouse today!

The hash browns were getting ready for our breakfast croissants, we’ve made a warm and creamy soup, full of goodness with sweet potato, carrot, lentil and coconut milk, and we’ve got a lovely lemon and blueberry cake guesting too.
😋

Tomorrow we’re getting the A2 canvasboards out for art group from 1pm to 3pm. Remember to bring a landscape or seascape photo for a bit of inspiration and come ready to have a go.

Good food, good chat, good creativity. We’ve got you.
