Grub in Hub food pantry is on in the morning (Friday), here at the centre from 9.30am till 10.45am.

Excellent selection of pick & mix this week (fridge / frozen), plenty of fresh fruit & veg along with the usual essentials.

All bags £5. All welcome…..

Also, please can we ask all visitors to be mindful of local parking. Keep pavements and driveways clear for wheelchairs, pushchairs, and emergency access, so we can keep outside the centre safe and accessible for everyone.

⛔️⛔️⛔️Today, our "Beck Adventures" session was cut short by an act of pure, reckless criminality. Someone intentionally set fire to the site.

Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a "prank." It was a life-threatening act of negligence. We had adults, children, and babies in our care. While we managed to evacuate safely through a side exit, the reality is that this could have ended in tragedy.

Our priority is, and always will be, the safety of our participants. It is infuriating that a handful of thoughtless individuals are willing to put our community’s children at risk. This behavior is unacceptable.

We are calling on everyone in this community to step up. If you see something, report it. Silence only protects those who are willing to cause harm. Whilst there behaviour becomes more reckless and something serious happens to either them or someone innocently visiting the beck.

A massive thank you to Alex and the staff at the at Lower Grange Community Centre for their immediate support in helping us relocate to the park so we could continue our session. We are also incredibly grateful to the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service for their rapid response and the vital work they do to keep us safe in this area

What a day at York Maze! 🌞🌽

Everyone from Lower Grange Community Centre had an amazing time soaking up the sunshine, getting lost in the maze, exploring, laughing and making memories together! 💛

And of course, the water was a HUGE hit! 💦😂 There were plenty of splashes, smiles and fun along the way!

A brilliant day out filled with adventure, laughter and lots of happy faces! 🥰☀️🌽💦

We have been very busy at our breakfast brunch, with the children enjoying a full breakfast and taking part in colouring activities. It was lovely to see the children engaging in activities while spending time with their families. It was also great to see families coming together to enjoy breakfast in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The 50 children had a great time at Insane Air. They enjoyed jumping around, playing, and having lots of fun. There were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the activity.

Afterwards, the children enjoyed a meal together, followed by ice cream to finish off a fun and enjoyable day.

The children had a fantastic time participating in the bowling activity. They were enthusiastic and engaged throughout, showing great enjoyment and encouragement towards one another. The children were particularly excited when they won their games, which resulted in lots of smiles, laughter, and positive reactions. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

The children thoroughly enjoyed ice skating and had lots of fun. They also enjoyed their meal, and it was lovely to see so many smiles and happy faces throughout the day.
