๐ BLACK STUDIES IS COMING TO ACAP THIS OCTOBER!
Ask yourself: how much do you really know about Black history, thought, culture and resistance beyond what mainstream education teaches us?
Knowledge shapes how we understand ourselves, our communities and the world around us. Black Studies encourages us to question what we have been taught, ask whose stories have been left out, and discover knowledge that can empower us to see ourselves, our communities and our history differently.
Join us at ACAP for our new 15-week Community Black Studies Course, where weโll explore everything from African civilisations, slavery and colonialism to Black Britain, Pan-Africanism, Black Marxism, identity, culture, resistance, and much more!
This course is about learning, questioning, discussing and critically exploring Black life, history and the world around us through a Black Studies lens.
