**NEWSFLASH**NEWSFLASH**
We are extremely pleased and excited to announce that a lift will be fitted indoors here at Eccleshill Mechanics Institute early next year.
Our fundraising for a lift started in 2018 with a weekly bonus ball, we have had sponsored silences, quizzes, events, raffles, tombolas, and latterly our monthly Lift 100 club. We cannot thank you all enough, for all that have donated whether it be through sales or prize donations, and of course being a member of our Lift 100 Club. Our funds have also been enhanced by a successful bid for funding from the National Lottery. We were pleased to receive £12,000 which amounts to approximately one third of the total cost.
Having a lift will add so much more potential to your fabulous community building. All we ask is that you bear with us during the installation.
Our monthly fundraising membership will still remain in place, but changed from Lift 100 to ‘Maintenance Fund’ and will remain at £10 per month, with five winners picked at random each month. We are sure you will all see the benefits to the building raised by these funds.
Once again………THANK YOU, we really do appreciate your support!
