Too much screen time can make it harder for children to settle at bedtime.

Swapping screens for shared activities like reading together before bed can help your child enjoy a calm bedtime routine, and fall asleep more easily.

With 2026 being the National Year of Reading , this is a great time to make reading part of your child’s bed time routine.

This summer hol is the perfect opportunity to take a refreshing walk to the beautiful Brontë Waterfall, just a mile south-west of Stanbury, near Haworth!

Take in the stunning views whilst discovering the interesting history of the Brontë sisters. See if you can find 'Charlotte's Chair' and sit on it like a throne.

#25 Creative Junk

It's the solar eclipse later today, we hope you have your special eclipse glasses ready!

If you haven't and you have a cardboard box and foil in your creative junk pile, then have a go at making this pinhole camera/projector to safely view the solar eclipse via Twinkl Resources

Please note that you mustn't look at the sun with the naked eye or rely on sunglasses as it can cause permanent eye damage.

We delivered our Playday goody bag today to the lucky family who won a huge selection of 50 Things To Do activities in celebration of National Play Day.

We were super pleased when the children proudly showed us the fox that they had made out of a cardboard roll as they had been playing with #25 Creative Junk today! 🦊

Too much screen time can make it harder for children to go outside and be active, leading to obesity.

Playing outside, whether it's skipping, jumping or hopping, can encourage your child to stay off screens and enjoy the outdoors!
