Participate projects is a Bradford based organisaition committed to helping new start up businesses 'for good'. This included IMAS waaay back in 2014! This year IMAS have been working alongside the Venturists, a Participate spin off dedicated to helping local children believe in themselves, thrive, and be kind to others as well as the planet. This is a great opportunity to support another year of Venturist activity.

Your donation to The Venturists is worth three times as much this month! ๐Ÿ’ฐ

We believe itโ€™s incredibly important to raise the aspirations of young people at the earliest opportunity; to inspire them about the possibilities of positive action for the environment and provide rich, life-changing education experiences that stay with them for life. This is your chance to help us achieve that.

Thanks to the Aviva Community Fund and British Airways Better World Community Fund, your donation is about to go three times as far. Make a contribution towards The Venturists programme and your donation will be matched by Aviva and British Airways.

Sport has the power to change lives. We now have the proof. ๐Ÿ™Œ

The IMAS Social Value Report 2024/25 is here โ€” and the numbers are extraordinary.

ยฃ22 million. 2,677 participants. 11 countries. One movement.

Mixed Ability sport brings disabled and non-disabled people together as equal members of the same club. Same sport. Same rules. Same team. The results speak for themselves:

โœ… Reduced loneliness & social isolation
โœ… Better mental health & wellbeing
โœ… Stronger communities & belonging
โœ… Shifted perceptions of disability
โœ… Skills, volunteering & pathways to employment

For every ยฃ1 invested, ยฃ20.30 of social value is returned to society.

This is what inclusive sport looks like. This is what it does.

๐Ÿ’™ World Autism Awareness Day ๐Ÿ’™

Today, April 2nd, IMAS joins in raising awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and reminding everyone of the importance of building a more inclusive, understanding, and accessible society for all.

Autism is not an illness; it is a neurodevelopmental condition that is part of human diversity. Each person on the spectrum is unique, with their own abilities, talents, challenges, and ways of seeing the world.

True inclusion begins with information, respect, and empathy. Listening, understanding, and supporting makes all the difference.

Today and every day, we are committed to a society where diversity is a value, not a barrier.

๐Ÿ“ข Because inclusion is not a gesture, it is a commitment.
