What an amazing day at the Neighbourhood Resource Centre HAF programme at BEAP! 🌟

The children had a fantastic time taking part in a wide range of structured activities that they thoroughly enjoyed. From indoor multi-sports including badminton, cricket and football, to a socialising corner, outdoor arts and crafts, and even more football outside, there was something for everyone!

The children stayed well hydrated throughout the day, enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and tucked into a tasty lunch of chicken pasta with salad and samosas.

By the end of the session, they were happily exhausted with so many exciting stories to share when they got home! 😊

A huge thank you to the fantastic staff and volunteers for delivering such a well-organised, fun and engaging HAF programme at BEAP. Your hard work and dedication made the day a great success! 👏💙

It’s wonderful to see the garden thriving with fresh vegetables and fruits, reflecting the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.

A huge well done to our fantastic sessional workers for encouraging and supporting our service users to get involved. Their enthusiasm and commitment have helped create a welcoming space where people can learn new skills, build confidence, and enjoy the rewards of gardening together.

🏊‍♀️ Making a Splash for Health & Wellbeing! 💙

Our Neighbourhood Resource Centre (NRC) was delighted to support 14 women on a fantastic swimming session at Bowling Pool. The venue was welcoming, accessible, and provided the perfect environment for everyone to enjoy themselves and build confidence in the water.

Swimming is a great way to improve both physical and mental wellbeing, helping to boost fitness, reduce stress, and encourage healthy, active lifestyles. It was wonderful to see so many women taking part, having fun, and supporting one another.

A huge well done to our dedicated NRC staff for developing and promoting this valuable service within the community. Your hard work continues to create opportunities that improve health, wellbeing, and social connections.

What a fantastic session at the Neighbourhood Resource Centre’s Older Women’s Programme!

The day began with a light breakfast and a chance to socialise, followed by gentle exercise and some fun dancing that had everyone smiling and moving. We finished the session by enjoying a delicious, healthy meal together.

These sessions are all about promoting health, wellbeing, friendship, and reducing social isolation while creating a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and connected.

A huge shoutout to our amazing NRC team for their dedication, hard work, and care in making the day such a success. Your commitment continues to make a real difference in our community.

🌸 A Day to Remember – Celebrating Culture, Community & Wellbeing 🌸

The Neighbourhood Resource Centre (NRC), in partnership with BEAP Community Partnership, was proud to organise a fantastic ladies’ trip from Manningham and Barkerend to the Walsall Boishakhi Mela in Birmingham.

The trip brought women together to celebrate Bangladeshi heritage, build new friendships, reduce social isolation, and promote mental wellbeing. From delicious street food and live music to a vibrant cultural atmosphere, it was a day full of smiles, laughter, and lasting memories.

A huge thank you to all our dedicated staff, volunteers, and the organisers of the Walsall Boishakhi Mela for making the day such a success.

🌟 Another Fantastic Day at Neighbourhood Resource Centre HAF! 🌟

Day 2 was a huge success, with 29 children enjoying an action-packed day at BEAP! 🎉

The children took part in a variety of exciting activities, including 🏃‍♂️ exercise sessions, 🏸 badminton, 🏏 cricket, and ⚽ football. They also loved the minibus journey to and from the centre, which added to the day’s adventure! 🚌😊

Everyone enjoyed a healthy lunch with nutritious food and plenty of water to stay energised throughout the day. 🥪💧 The older children especially had a fantastic time making the most of the outdoor facilities.

Most importantly, the children were exceptionally well behaved, enthusiastic, and a pleasure to be around. Their smiles and laughter made the day even more special. ❤️

A massive thank you to all the incredible NRC staff and volunteers for their hard work, dedication, and creativity in organising such a wide range of engaging activities. Your commitment is making a real difference and creating unforgettable summer memories for our young people. 👏🌟

🌿 Our Women’s Walking Group is Going from Strength to Strength! 🌿

We’re so proud to see our Neighbourhood Resource Centre Women’s Walking Group continue to grow. It’s been wonderful to witness the positive impact it’s having on everyone’s physical and mental wellbeing, while also creating lasting friendships and a real sense of community.

We now have 18 women regularly taking part, enjoying walks, social activities, and a range of fantastic sessions together. The support, laughter, and encouragement shared within the group have made it a truly special initiative.

A huge thank you to our amazing sessional worker, whose dedication and enthusiasm have helped develop and grow this wonderful community project.

🌳⚽ What a fantastic day at Peel Park, Bradford! 💚

Our Neighbourhood Resource Centre Younger Women’s Group enjoyed an amazing day outdoors with 16 wonderful women taking part.

The day started with a relaxing walk around the park, followed by lots of fun and laughter with women’s football and table tennis. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed a lovely picnic under the shade of a tree. 🧺🌞

Days like these are a great reminder of how getting active, spending time outdoors, and connecting with others can have such a positive impact on both our physical and mental wellbeing.

The fun doesn’t stop here—women’s football will be continuing throughout the summer! ⚽💪

🎉🌟 What an absolutely AMAZING day at the Bradford 3 Community Event, organised by the Neighbourhood Resource Centre (NRC)! 🌟🎉

The day was packed with fun, laughter, and community spirit, bringing together over 300 people for a fantastic celebration! 💙

There was something for everyone:
🎨 Free face painting
🌿 Beautiful henna designs
🏰 A huge bouncy castle
🔥 Delicious BBQ
🍢 Authentic Bangladeshi street food
🍰 Homemade cakes and sweets
💍 Jewellery
👗 Clothing
👞 Shoes
🛍️ And so much more from our wonderful local community stalls!

It was incredible to see families, friends, and neighbours enjoying themselves and supporting local businesses and community organisations. The atmosphere was simply unforgettable!

Gofur Miah, NRC Board Member, said:
“Seeing over 300 people come together to celebrate our community is truly inspiring. Events like this show the strength, diversity and togetherness of Bradford 3. A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and made this day such a wonderful success.”
