Well done to our founder and chief executive, Tim Morfin OBE and his family, for completing the Great North Run this weekend! Thank you for going the extra mile to help make hope real for every child who is struggling. We're incredibly proud of you all. 🏃‍♂️🏅

"We did it! A day of joy & pain that will live long in the memory! So grateful to be running 'with' the Morfin crew.

Amazing atmosphere with such generous support all the way. Thankful for the strangers who cheered me on, sprayed water on a hot northeast day from garden hose pipes and generously gave copious sweets & ice pops 😀

This new school year, over 10 million children will walk through their school gates. Many will struggle under a heavy load - not a backpack, but the mental and emotional burden of anxiety, exclusion, poverty and loneliness. They’ll carry it into their classrooms and friendships, then back into homes already under pressure.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic events at Big Church Festival yesterday. Our hearts break for everyone involved, and for the families and loved ones of those affected.

We are praying for God’s comforting presence to surround all who are hurting at this incredibly difficult time, for healing for those injured, and peace for the Big Church Festival team. Please join us in praying.

Across the UK, too many children are struggling with loneliness, anxiety and poor emotional wellbeing. Behind every statistic is a child, a family, a classroom, a community.

For over 25 years, TLG has been working alongside local churches to bring practical, relational and hope-filled support to children and families who need it most.

Today, we’re sharing a clearer way of describing who we are: TLG is a Christian children’s emotional and mental wellbeing charity that exists to make hope real for every child who struggles.

Our wording may be new, but our purpose remains the same: partnering with churches and equipping everyday Christians to be there for children and families when it really matters.

Children’s struggles are real. But so is hope. Thank you for being part of making that hope real.
